Common problems we repair

  • Water will not drain after the cycle
  • Drum will not spin or clothes stay soaked
  • Leaks during filling, washing or draining
  • Washer will not fill, start or unlock
  • Unusual vibration, noise or an error code

Diagnosing a washer fault

Tell us which part of the cycle fails: filling, washing, draining or spinning. Error codes and the model number help us prepare. We check the cause before recommending a pump, door lock, control or other replacement part.

Let us know about stacked units before the appointment. Access, model and any lifting requirements need to be confirmed before work starts. Do not force a locked door or remove panels yourself.

Before your appointment

Photograph any error code before resetting the machine. If it is leaking, stop the cycle and shut off the water supply if the valve is safely accessible. Leave a clear path to the washer and tell us if it is stacked, built into cabinetry or difficult to access.

Repair questions

Can you repair stacked laundry units?

Share the models and installation details first so we can confirm access and any additional handling needed. If you are replacing the machines, see our washer and dryer installation service.

My washer shows an error code. Is that enough to diagnose it?

An error code is useful information, but it usually identifies a condition rather than proving a particular part has failed. We check the cause before recommending parts.

Do I need to empty the washer before the visit?

Remove laundry if you can do so safely. If the door is locked or the drum is full of water, leave it as it is and tell us when requesting service.

What happens after the diagnosis?

We explain the fault, the repair price and whether a part needs to be ordered. You decide whether to proceed. The $80 diagnostic fee plus tax applies if you decline the repair; it is waived when you go ahead.
