Refrigerator diagnosis
Poor cooling can come from a fan, defrost fault, temperature sensor, door seal or sealed-system problem. The diagnostic visit identifies the fault so we can explain the repair and quote the work.

We repair sealed-system faults in household refrigerators, including compressor faults and refrigerant leaks. We confirm the model, refrigerant type and parts availability before quoting the work. If you already have a diagnosis, share it when requesting service.

Note when the temperature changed and whether both compartments are affected. Keep doors closed as much as possible and move temperature-sensitive food to a safely working fridge or cooler. Have the model number ready if you can find it without moving the appliance.

Yes. Tell us whether you have an upright, chest or refrigerator-freezer combination, along with the model and what has changed. We confirm the repair scope with you before arranging the visit.
Can you tell me the price from the symptoms?
Symptoms help us prepare, but several faults can look alike. The diagnostic visit establishes the problem so we can give you a repair price.
Should I turn the fridge off?
If there is a burning smell, smoke or an electrical hazard, stop using it and seek urgent help as appropriate. Otherwise, describe the symptom when you contact us so we can advise on preparing for the visit.
What happens after the diagnosis?
We explain the fault, the repair price and whether a part needs to be ordered. You decide whether to proceed. The $80 diagnostic fee plus tax applies if you decline the repair; it is waived when you go ahead.
